With texting being so convenient that is why it has become limitless because that is mostly what everyone uses. We have stopped talking to people face to face, or going out because we can just text our friends instead of actually hanging out with them, we also text more because our lives have become so busy that texting each other is all that we have time for. Or if we do go out with friends we are either texting each other while we are out or texting other people who are not out with us.
